In addition to tests on building materials for reinforced concrete structures and structural verification, the laboratory also performs tests and analyses on bituminous conglomerates.
The tests and the most frequent analyses relate to the determination of the physical characteristics of the bituminous conglomerate and the binder in both the laboratory and on site, in the latter case with the use of the mobile laboratory. On site, checks are also carried out on the processing cores using skid-tests, macro-roughness, permeability, etc. In the laboratory, studies are also performed on the formulation of bituminous mixtures and testing for CE marking of asphalt.
